    About MCCDC

Established 1979, the Marin City Community Development Corporation (MCCDC) came together to address the growing disparity between the small community of Marin City and Marin County.

Since then, MCCDC has become the employment experts for the Marin City, Marin County, and beyond. Our mission is to enhance community development and economic self-sufficiency through employment services, mental health, and financial education.

Our goal is to prepare and empower lower income and less advantaged individuals for the workforce and long-term economic self-sufficiency.

MCCDC's Core Business Objectives are to continue to:

Expand our capacity for services to individuals living with mental health challenges.
Strengthen the skillsets and the economic sustainability of jobseekers and consumers.
Build our strategic relationships and community ties.
Increase opportunities for living wage job development.
    Increase affordable housing opportunities.
Provide year-long youth empowerment programs in Marin City and Marin County.

    Our Vision...

''To be known as the Marin County low-to-moderate income (LMI) workforce development experts supporting living wages, mental health, and economic self-sufficiency.
