Youth Working for Change
The Youth Working for Change program can help you with the following:
- Completing your community service hours
- Obtaining clothing for school or work
- Assisting you with transportation
- Creating a resume
- Assisting you with applications for employment
- Preparing you for an interview
- Getting you an internship or job
Career Explorer Internship
Feel that you are ready for the next step? Then consider applying for the County of Marin’s Career Explorer Internship. This internship program provides you with a unique experience in local government. During the summer, you’ll work at one of our county departments, four days per week and participate in career exploration and networking opportunities on the fifth day.
The internship is a paid experience where you will also learn the following:
- Networking
- Conflict Resolution
- Public Speaking
- Cultural Competency
- Interviewing and Resume Writing
- Meeting Facilitation
- Effective Communication
