A & C Noma Construction, Inc. is a small and growing construction company that has been in business since 2009 with a restoration division and located in Rohnert Park, CA. Our primary clients are property management firms, real-estate investors, HOAs and residential homeowners. The ideal candidate will oversee projects from bidding to execution. Project Manager will work with senior management, Project Coordinators/Superintendents, and communicate with clients as needed. Must have ability to manage multiple projects and work well with people.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates Project Charter and Project Schedules using SmartSheets/Microsoft Project or equivalent.
- Develops and oversees all stages of project life cycle with other PMs to execute job tasks.
- Responsible for tracking financial activities associated with project costs. Budgets vs. Actuals Spend and able to report Gross Profit Margin for each project at start/end of project.
- Provide timely project status reports weekly to all stakeholders.
- Manages Subcontractor proposals and work.
- Submits approved Purchase Orders to Accounting.
- Submits project expenses to accounting.
- Schedules building permits and inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Formal Project Management Training. Certification preferred, but not required with 5-years minimum of industry experience that includes Project Planning & Initiating, Execution and Close Down. Must be able to perform Project Financial Tracking.
- 10+ years of experience in Construction industry.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Must be computer savy (Project Management software, Office 365, Adobe, DocuSign, email, etc.)
- Supervisory skills in delegating tasks and holding people accountable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Industry knowledge and ability to read blueprints.
- Detail-oriented and strong communication skills.
- 5+ years of experience in Restoration is beneficial.
- Experience in Xactimate bidding software very beneficial for insurance clients.
