The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes define businesses based on the industry in which they are primarily engaged. Therefore, when searching for contracting opportunities related to your product/service, it is imperative to have the correct NAICS code. The Small Business Administration (SBA) uses NAICS codes to determine size standards. If you want to be classified as a small business, your company’s revenues or number of employees must be under a certain amount depending on your industry and NAICS codes. In this webinar, we will explore the NAICS system and the relationship to the small business size standard set by the SBA.
