• From the Marin Builders Association Board President

Thank you for visiting our online headquarters. On behalf of the Marin Builders Association Board of Directors, I invite you to explore the various offerings of our association. Whether you're a member seeking industry connections or a business owner/homeowner looking for construction professionals, our website stands as the premier resource in Marin County. If you're not a member, we encourage you to join us in serving the community and contributing to the region's top construction industry resource.

Our association operates on three integral tenets: Education, Community, and Advocacy. These three attributes weave their way into our events, publications, outreach programs, and industry representation.

With over 560 members and guidance from a dedicated, all-volunteer board of 22 local leaders, we possess the strength to support our region both within and beyond the construction sector, to the community at large. [Meet our Board of Directors]

As a community leader in construction training and development, we serve as a catalyst, provider, and connector of programs to prepare individuals for the construction industry in Marin County. [More about our Training Programs] Additionally, our robust scholarship program, approaching $1 million in awards in 2024, has supported hundreds of young people in our community over three decades. [More about our Scholarship Program]

Looking forward, we are expanding our successful, long-term initiative to enhance the permitting customer experience for local jurisdictions. Our goal is to simplify and improve the process for both contractors and homeowners. [More about our Permit Improvement Program]

Marin Builders Association is dedicated to the success of our members, supporting our diverse region, and making positive contributions through our industry.

I am proud to serve as Board President in 2024.
