Project Manager - Landscape Construction

We’re looking for a Construction Project Manager who’s ready to take ownership of projects from the first bid to the final walk-through. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering top-notch work on time and on budget.
Responsibilities- Plan, lead, and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring profitability, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee estimating tasks, including accurate bids, material takeoffs, subcontractor negotiations, and proposal preparation.
- Negotiate vendor pricing and manage procurement, submittals, and material deliveries.
- Review and interpret blueprints, elevations, contracts, and landscape plans.
- Conduct pre-job meetings, on-site inspections, and collaborate with architects, vendors, and inspectors.
- Track project budgets, expenses, and profitability; prepare reports and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Expand marketing efforts by maintaining client relationships, securing new business, and representing the company at industry events.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members; oversee safety meetings and enforce safety protocols.
- Leverage construction software and technology tools to streamline workflows and enhance communication.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role.
- Strong background in construction management, estimating, budgeting, P&L oversight, contracts, safety protocols, and building codes.
- Knowledge of landscape construction practices, including hardscape, softscape, grading, drainage, and equipment.
- Proficient with construction/estimating software (i.e. Aspire and PropertyInel or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including blueprints, contracts, and landscape plans.
- Skilled in budgeting, cost control, and project financial management.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
