Local construction companies have recently received emails from fraudulent vendors posing as a member or partner of the Marin Builders Association "selling" lists. We have no affiliation with any 3rd party data vendors.

We do not sell or share any of our member’s contact information. It is our policy and priority to protect member data.

Unfortunately, these days, there are some bad actors in the virtual world that use the name of reputable local organizations like ours to make a quick profit or steal sensitive information.

We strongly recommend that you DO NOT provide any payment information or any of your personal information. Their efforts are illegitimate and are NOT FROM US.

    A few important reminders:

Check with our staff first. If there are any doubts call us.

Look at the sending email address in the solicitation. It will not be from marinbuilders.com, which means it is not genuine.

When in doubt … Don’t. This applies to all things IT. Check with someone first but do not take the unnecessary risk.
