Unincorporated Marin’s Low Carbon Concrete Code to be Enforced

An Announcement for Design Professionals and Contractors Pouring Concrete

The County of Marin is now stepping up enforcement of its Low Carbon Concrete Ordinance adopted in 2019.  Due to the economic uncertainty of the pandemic, the County decided to defer enforcement until January 1, 2023. 

This is an announcement encouraging all design professionals (e.g., engineers, architects), contractors pouring concrete, and approved 3rd party plan reviewers/inspectors to ensure compliance so your project does not experience any further delays.
