Tiburon Joins the Marin Builders Customer Satisfaction Assessment Program
Marin Builders Association, Town of Tiburon and Marin Economic Forum
Collaborate to Measure and Improve the Permit Customer Experience
The Town of Tiburon has announced a new partnership with the Marin Builders Association and Marin Economic Forum to help improve the experience for the permit customers. The Customer Satisfaction Assessment is a program designed to measure and ultimately improve the process for citizens and building professionals navigating the permitting process.
The result of the program will be a report presented to town leadership that will include data from customer surveys, feedback from focus groups, and findings from one-on-one interviews. The published report will include customer service improvement recommendations as well as a collection of best practices from municipalities across the region.
The customer survey was launched on November 5th and will expand to residents, businesses or building professionals who have applied for a planning or building permit in the last two years. Anyone who has participated in the process and would like to provide feedback is encouraged to take the brief survey at
"The Town of Tiburon is excited to identify ways we can improve the experience for our residents and our businesses. We are proud to be one of the first to partner with the Marin Builders Association and the Marin Economic Forum to make it easier to do business with us.” said Sung Kwon, Tiburon’s Community Development Director.
“We are pleased to add the Town of Tiburon to our growing list of clients. We look forward to providing Tiburon an evaluation of how the Community Development department is viewed by customers and help them improve processes.” added Rick Wells, Marin Builders Association CEO.
