Last October the Marin Green Home Tour premiered as an on-line webinar featuring video tours of 10 Marin homes showing off their green building improvements. The 400 participants enjoyed tours of new homes, remodels and even apartment buildings which have decreased energy and water use while improving their homes' livability. The program also included live segments and Q&A with building experts explaining the benefits and how to implement various electrification options. Last year's video tours are available at
https://www.maringreenhometour.org/ and have been viewed by hundreds of residents.
Tour organizers are planning for Marin Green Home Tour 2 this fall and would love to include a contractor on our steering committee to assure that these important stakeholders are represented in our tour offerings.
