Marin Builders Association Political Action Committee (BAPAC) Announces Endorsements
San Rafael, CA - Marin Builders Association PAC has joined several other Marin County organizations and the Marin Independent Journal in endorsing two candidates for Marin County Supervisor, Mary Sackett (District 1) and Eric Lucan (District 5).
Marin Builders Association PAC members participated in candidate interviews along with the North Bay Leadership Council, San Rafael Chamber of Commerce, and Novato Chamber of Commerce in late April.
Lucan and Sackett have a strong track record in working with local organizations to find solutions to the most challenging issues which includes recovery from the pandemic, labor shortage, fiscal responsibility, and process improvement. These candidates align best in efforts to enhance the economic vitality of the county while working to supply much needed workforce housing that support our local businesses.
Mary Sackett has been endorsed for the District 1 County Supervisorial seat. Her background and experience will bring a unique perspective to the Board. She has been involved in the community for over two decades and has built a reputation of being a problem solver and collaborator. She has a deep knowledge of the district, existing relationships, and clear understanding of the County’s most pressing issues. She is dedicated to helping small and medium business recover from the pandemic that has many businesses surviving month-to-month.
Eric Lucan has been endorsed for the District 5 County Supervisorial seat. He is currently the Mayor of Novato and has built a strong track record on issues that are important to local businesses and organizations. His leadership among his peers and with city staff has given insight to how he would handle the Supervisor role. His responsiveness and ability to understand topics are skills that will translate serve the community well.
