SCOPE: Alten Construction has been awarded this lease-leaseback project and is requesting sub bids for Increment 1 only at this time. There will be a separate bid for Increment 2.
Scope includes site preparation for building the new Learning Resource Center.
PLA (with Skilled & Trained Req’s) Required / Prevailing Wage Required / See OCIP Manual for Insurance to exclude from your bids / 10% Retention / RFI Deadline is 9/22/22 by 5:00 PM / 180 Calendar Day Duration / $2,000 per CD - Liquidated Damages / 1-Year General Warranty / Alten will issue a prelim schedule, trade packages, and RFI Responses via Bid Clarification-Addendum /
Subcontractors must be registered with the DIR to bid on this project https://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/dlsePublicWorks.html It is now State of CA law to include CSLB license # & DIR # on bid sub list – make sure to put them on your bid scope’s 1st page! Subcontractors & Suppliers are required to comply with Alten’s standard subcontract(s) which can be found on our website www.altenconstruction.com
