Green Building Model Reach Code Survey
The following survey solicits feedback on Marin's proposed 2022 Green Building Model Reach (above and beyond) Code.  If adopted Fall of 2022, local building codes will go into effect January 1, 2023.  The model (prototype) reach codes reflect a balance between Marin's ambitious climate, housing, and equity priority obligations while thinking through what’s needed to practically implement and enforce building codes.  It reflects over one year of input from three community focus group workshops, City, Town, and County building and planning staff, local, regional and state experts, and in-depth research from precedence across California.

The survey questions reflect key components of the model code.  For more details and context, please review the "Proposed Model Reach Code" section located on the following website at https://marincounty.org/greenbuildingcodes.

Survey questions asked are intended to be high-level; simplified to best collect feedback on key policy components in the following areas:
    1. All-electric Requirements for All New Construction/Newly Constructed Buildings: https://marincounty.org/allelectricNC2022
    2. Stronger Energy Efficiency and Electrification Requirements for Existing Single-Family Renovations: https://marincounty.org/existingSF2022
    3. Electric Vehicle Infrastructure:  https://marincounty.org/EV2022
