Last Wednesday evening, Marin Builders Association in partnership with the Marin County Office of Education proudly celebrated the 2019 graduates of the Marin County Construction Technology ROP Program.

The prestigious guest presenters at the graduation included County Supervisor Dennis Rodoni,  Melissa Apuya of State Assemblyman Mark Levine's office, Brian McLeran, Marin Builders Board Member and Owner of McLeran Roofing, and Jessie Madsen, Pathways Coordinator for the Marin County Office of Education.  This year’s recipients of the ‘Golden Hammer Award’ were Matthew Forrest, Noah Gardner, Jackson Houlihan and Sophia Lindsay.

Of the 19 class participants, 14 were Marin County high school students and 5 were local adults (ages 19-70).  6 of the graduates will be moving on to industry related internships and positions this summer.

We would also like to gratefully acknowledge our wonderful and tireless Lead Instructor, Tom Eller and his dedicated volunteer instructors  - Peter Oqvist, David Segale,  Dave Nord,  Mike Lane, David Downey and Mike Schultz.
