Marin Builders Association Political Action Committee (BAPAC) recently announced the endorsement of Eric Lucan, Amy Peele and Susan Wernick for the Novato City Council election.

The BAPAC members were impressed with Eric Lucan and his legacy of support for the business community.  While on the council, Lucan has consistently demonstrated positive leadership and shown commitment to initiatives that drive the local economy.

Amy Peele has been a community leader for more than thirty years.  She was the Chair of Measure A campaign which resulted in $170 million dollars in funds for Novato Schools. She served as President of the Novato Human Needs and has raised money for several important causes in Novato.

Susan Wernick served five years on the Novato Planning Commission. Her experience in local business has helped her gain the skills and build the relationships to be an effective future council member. In addition to the planning commission, Wernick currently is a San Marin Improvement Association Board Member and a member of the San Marin Compatible Housing Coalition.

“We are very confident in the leadership, skills, and the experience of all three candidates. They will serve the needs of both local residents and businesses well with their open and positive approach to leadership,” stated Mark VanGorder, BAPAC Chair.

The Marin Builders Association serves the construction industry by promoting high ethical and professional standards, providing quality services to their members. The Builders Association works responsibly with the community for the enhancement of the building industry. The association recognizes its responsibility to the well being of the community and the environment and supports candidates that share these values.
