On Saturday, October 8th, 18 local students were celebrated for successfully completing a rigorous six-week course in basic construction.  The Education to Career (e2c) Construction Training Program targets entry-level employment, providing the basic skills for success in the construction industry.  In addition to technical skills, the program also includes career, financial and personal support to help ensure long-term career success.  This impactful initiative was created in response to the North Bay’s high demand for skilled construction workers. The Marin Builders Association partners in this effort with College of Marin and Canal Alliance to bring construction training and job opportunities to local students.

Marin Builders Association members will have access to the resumes of these program graduates for review and hiring opportunities in the coming weeks.

In addition to the e2c program, the Marin Builders Association also supports the North Bay Construction Corps - Marin Class, Sponsored by the Mario Ghilotti Family Foundation, as well as the ROP Construction Technology Class at Redwood High School.
