Experienced Hot Asphalt Roofing Foreman

McLeran Roofing is searching for an Experienced Hot Asphalt Roofing Foreman to join our team. We are family owned & operated with a top-notch team of craftsmen. We have been servicing the residential and commercial roofing needs of Marin County residents for over 90 years. If you have a great attitude and strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of construction on your projects/job sites you are managing
• Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met
• Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment
• Estimate material and worker requirements to complete jobs
• Assign work to employees, based on material and worker requirements of specific jobs
• Analyze worker production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans
• Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies
• Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction activities, using hand tools and other equipment

REQUIRED SKILLS

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A HOT ASPHALT ROOFING FOREMAN
• MUST HAVE VALID CA DRIVERS LICENSE (without any tickets or DUI's for at least 2 years)
• Must have reliable transportation to company yard in San Rafael
• Must be able to speak English & Spanish clearly
• Must have the ability to guide, direct, and motivate subordinates with a positive attitude
• The ability to work on ladders and roofs at EXTREME heights and temperatures
• The ability to lift heavy materials ranging from 50lbs. – 100lbs. up & down ladders
