    Immediate full-time, year-round opening. Bob Kunst Painting, inc. (San Rafael, CA), a well-established and growing residential and commercial painting company is now accepting applications for a people-oriented, optimistic, talkative individual to join our family.     Estimating, Sales, and Lead Follow Up:
    • Persistently follow up with potential clients and open proposals according to our communication standards
    • Act on incoming leads generated by our internal marketing efforts, following up thoroughly
    • Visit with homeowners, Contractors, and Property Managers to discuss their project, develop trust, and uncover needs they have.
    • Create compelling estimates and personally review with customers.
    • Effectively identify and address customer concerns and provide just enough information for them to make great decisions.
    • Accurately estimate projects; provide scope to ensure our production team hits profitability targets.
    • Produce easily understandable work scopes for production staff with descriptions, photos, video, etc. for smooth transition.

    Networking & Brand Awareness:
    • Develop personal relationships with others in the community to develop enough referral partners and leads to hit our sales targets.
    • Develop and adhere to a predictable and repeatable stay-in-touch communication plan
    • Use all downtime to effectively create opportunities within your network.
    • Attend regularly scheduled networking events and business-building activities.
    • Regularly and thoroughly update customer records to further increase relationship potential, including data entry into CRM.

    Continuous Process Improvement:
    • Collaborate with leadership team in the spirit of constant improvement of all processes and systems and win higher-margin and larger percentages of work
    • Provide daily/weekly feedback and reports on improving all systems, including those outside of sales responsibilities.
    • Track all relationship, prospect and sales statistics, report to leadership team, and provide suggestions for improvements.
    • Actively collect feedback from production staff in order to improve systems.

    Knowledge Transfer:
    • Work collaboratively with production team to effectively pass off work in a productive way.
    • Collaborate with other departments to accomplish larger company gross margin targets.

    • You can effectively communicate ideas to individuals and groups in an easily understandable way.
    • You are masterful at managing your time and priorities in order to achieve your goals.
    • You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy building rapport & relating well to all kinds of people.

    • You are versatile and adapt to various situations with ease.

    • Bachelor’s degree is highly desired. Preferably in business or marketing.
    • Experience in the painting or construction industry is highly desired.
    • Ability to read construction drawings/plans and perform takeoffs is highly desired.
    • Demonstrable work experience with increasing responsibilities and proven track record of successful sales / business development.

    • Flexible schedule depending on work demands and client needs.
    • General working hours are 6:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday, but schedule will be set based on achievement of goals. Hours could potentially be flexible depending on a variety of factors.
    • Evenings / weekend appointments may be required based on customer needs
    • Working mostly with clients in their homes and/or businesses, and networking events with referral partners throughout the North Bay Area.

    • Base salary + incentives with realistic goals
    • Top producers will make more than $130K+ annually within first 3 years
