This is the first class in a five-part series which provides a wholistic approach to high performance residential building. It is appropriate for homeowners and builders. While each session stands on its own, we encourage you to attend all or as many as possible. These trainings are organized by PG&E and offered in collaboration with County of Sonoma Energy and Sustainability Division and Sonoma Clean Power. Lunch will be provided for class participants. All sessions qualify for continuing education through AIA, BPI, and ICC.
Water heating has changed considerably in the past twenty years with increased adoption of on-demand and heat pump technologies. Distribution systems have been rethought. Gary Klein will provide guidance on how to design, specify, and build hot water systems based on up-to-date thinking and information.
